Sadly I collapse at least once or twice a week. The drs are not sure why or what causes my collapse. Sometimes I can be out for 45 mins. I have not worked for over 2 years. I live on DLA on my savings (which are going down).
I would love to work. Any ideas on what I can do (Admin trained) I do get very tired and can no longer drive. Apart from my health! I would love to be able to work again or am I just fooling myself. Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Thank you x

Presumably you receive more than DLA, ESA, HB etc.
Do you live alone.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
No I only get DLA. I have savings which are at the moment over £16,000. I live on my own with my little dog x0

If you can type, you could search for copy typing which can be done from home. There will be deadlines, but you should be able to do it at times which are convenient to you, when you are feeling stronger.
(Not a great suggestion, but maybe it will spark someone else into thinking of something better

Quite a few employers are flexible around supporting staff with chronic health/disabilities. For example, you might be able to negotiate flexible working, or an annualised horus contract rather than set hours each week. You'd also be entitlted to an access to work assessment to look at any support/equipment you might need. I wonder if there's a disability employment service/charity locally, I know that some will arrange placements etc0

Hi thank you for your replies. I had to wear a heart monitor for 6 months so I know my heart is fine. I may contact the local university to see if they need touch typists. x0

Have you thought about advertising in a newsagents or post office? You could say a little about yourself - not too much as to make yourself look vulnerable - but maybe that you are looking for a small job working from home, that you have good people skills, are reliable, enthusiastic etc.
I know it can be difficult. I used to be asleep for almost a week at times, however that was fifteen years ago and I'm thankfully fully recovered. Reliability can be a difficult issue!
Maybe when you've picked something - touch typing for example as you've already mentioned, a structured routine may help.
For example, if when you wake, your normal routine is to shower, rest, eat, rest - add 15mins of work to the end of that routine. That way, if you're nocturnal like I was, you can do it any time.
Not telling you how to go about your recovery in any way, just letting you know what helped me crawl out of it. My 'routines' were able to get longer and longer
I hope you manage to find something that works around you. Don't give up
