Nat West mortgage application time

Anyone know how long Nat West are taking with applications at the moment? Mine went in last Thursday (9th), via a broker, and I still have not heard anything. I have gone to my broker again but he says give them a few more days. I only ask as I thought they are known for taking 48 hours.

Property is £310K and I have a £165K deposit so asking for a £145K mortgage. Mortgage is the 5 year fix at 2.95%.

    House purchase can be a stressful experience. So don't get anxiety attacks this early in the process. So many variables to consider. Not least that many staff will be on holiday.
