Will 1 missed payment effect mortgage offer

Hi,

Just a quick question :-

Me and my girlfriend already have an AIP for our mortgage, we are buying a new build so wont be completing for another 3 months.

My girlfriend has just missed a payment on a card she has and has paid it off a couple of days late, it was only a small balance on the card and it has been cleared in full.

Will the mortgage company credit check us again before the mortgage completes? and also if the late payment marker does go on her credit record, is this likely to effect the mortgage?

If it makes any difference this is the only missed payment ever for either of us and it was paid off only a couple of days late.

Many thanks
