QuickQuid & ARC - anyway to get default removed?

Hi all,
I stupidly used Quickquid for payday loans last year and defaulted on the payments. I am now being chased by ARC for the outstanding money and two defaults have been registered against me on callcredit. I am happy to pay the money back, I was wondering if there is any likelihood of being able to get the defaults removed? The two defaults are for £160 and £660. They were defaulted very quickly after they started:
for the £660 (from callcredit report):
Account opened 12/10/11
Account defaulted 09/01/12
for the £160:
Account opened 07/09/2011
Account defaulted 12/12/2011
Both debts still appear on callcredit as owned by Quickquid, but when I spoke to quickquid they said the debt has been passed to ARC, the american at quickquid didnt seem to understand when I was asking if ARC own the debt now or if they are acting as agents for quickquid. As I understand it third party collectors are more likely to strike a deal to remove the defaults on full payment??
I will do anything possible to get the default notices removed as my credit record was just getting back on track when I did this, and this will now ruin my credit for the next 6 years (well just over 5 now).
Any Advice?

Oh another thing - I moved out of the address the debts were registered to last year in october, but didn't inform quickquid. So i have no idea if default notices were sent out or not. They still have the old address registered for me, should I tell them the new one or will that bring agents to my door??0

I wouldn't think you could have the defaults removed as you did default on the payments.0

just don't take credit for 6 years, only way they wont get your new addressDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I dont want to avoid payment, I am happy to arrange payment with them, so no need to go into hiding for 6 years! - ive been down that road before. I want to get all my finances in order, just wondering if there is any way to get the defaults removed without waiting until 2017! And I wanted to make the point that I didnt recieve the default notices although this was because I didnt inform them of my new address.
Is it worth asking them to provide copies of the CCA and default agreement to see if there is any way I can get the defaults removed on a technicality?
Or can I offer to pay in full if the defaults are removed? is this likely to work?0 -
No defaults would stand, they are after 2007Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
