Tonight's episode seems to be aiming to be a classic..... I feel so sorry for the shop assistant who keeps being told her items are disgusting!

Felt sorry for the assistant as well, I personally though the bride was such a diva in the shop she should have tried the dress on before taking her little stomp!! Loved it when the "pointy shoes" appeared and she called him a "drip"
Series Link now set on the Sky Planner!!!0 -
I loved the first, see through bridesmaids dresses! And the fact he wasn't allowed £50! :eek:0

Damn it I forgot! Is this episode repeated does anyone know?0

it's on tomorrow at 4:25am on BBC three for those who want to record it0

its on iplayer too!
i really felt for the shop assistant too and when the mum said something about not worrying that it came in two bags.
im sorry, but that bride was a proper stroppy madam and the stunt she pulled in the shop combined with her reaction to the church confirmed what a selfish woman she was. Marriage is about a partnership and is not just about the bride and what she wants (plus the groom is trying to do his best to please her anyways!).
I thought it was a lovely gesture that the groom chose the church where he last saw his dad since he wasnt able to be there for the day. And bless him and his mum for the whole cake thing -esp the cabbage roses!
"i dont want cabbages on my cake!"Change is inevitable...nothing stays the same forever

I don't know why I watch it sometimes- the majority of brides on it seem to care more about the dress than their husband-to-be.
I didn't like the dress either admittedly but just because it reminds me of a toilet roll holder doesn't mean it's a horrible dress, and I'm sure the shop sell loads to women wanting something 'princessy'. It was embarrassing watching her throw a strop and having her mum and best friend trying their hardest to get her to try it on. I did feel they were far too soft on her. I would have told her to grow up, stop being so rude and remember this is about a partnership that will hopefully last a lifetime, not the blooming dress she'll wear for one measly day.
Incidentally I think I'd be fine on DTTB. I have no strong feelings about weddings and my OH has much better taste than me, so he'd do a much better job organising it. Then again they clearly wouldn't let me participate, as I wouldn't provide any drama0 -
I agree! I would actually love to go on dttb if it didn't have to be shown on TV!! My OH would do a fabulous job, I would have no stress and horrible decision making (which I am terrible at) and lots of lovely suprises which I would love! Plus it would be paid for! But I would be mortified to be on TV and like you, wouldn't provide enough entertainment!0

I would hate to be on TV too! I've also heard that the producers edit the footage to make things look worse than they are, and even delaying things to get the groom stressed and increase the likelihood of an angry bride
No reason we can't let the OHs take control of our weddings anywayJust a shame we wouldn't be getting the free money to fund it with!

I applied to go on it last year!
I mainly did it for the money, and because the gf wants to get married but I'm not that bothered (although the mind is changing!).
We had an interview with them after an application and few phone interviews.
My idea was amazing, I suggested getting married in a hot air balloon...but they clearly didn't like my idea.
I kinda wish I had got on, as it would have been quite fun trying to spend 12k!
I think the gf would have just been happy with anything though, and ultimately, that's not what they want!0
