Sorry, I have deleted my post

It's Ok, you made me realise that my original post was quite misleading.

Because filing a tax return is a requirement when you run a business and you should have either made time to do it or paid someone to do it for you. Would you use the same excuse for failing to pay a supplier? Sorry I'm a bit disorganised so I havent the time to pay your invoice.

There was a lot more to it than being a bit disorganised, I would NEVER withold payment from anyone in normal circumstances.

    Who can say?

A psychiatrist might put it down to your upbringing, or being bullied at school or whatever..... but that's not really important right now.

What's important, is that people pay their taxes correctly and promptly, rather than "eventually".

Of course it is important to pay your taxes correctly and promptly and obviously I agree. But things go wrong sometimes and the wheels come off.

As for your digs at me questioning my upbringing and suggesting that I was bullied, I'm going to ignore them because I am not willing to descend into a slagging match on the internet, which I think would be pathetic. Also to be fair I did not give enough information in my original post which lead some to draw the wrong conclusions.
