I first had these in Amsterdam and love them. The only place I have ever found them in the UK is in Harrods. The rare times I get to London I pay a fortune for a few. I'm going down in a few weeks. I don't think I'd find them round me, does anybody know anywhere in London I would be able to get some. Are they going to be in a Turkish greengrocers?
Thanks.
Thanks.

They sound interesting. You could try Borough Market if you are down when it's open.0

They really are, I wish I could get a regular supply of them. Can't decide if I like them firmer or when they have gone brown, gooey and sticky.

Hi kittycat204,
As your thread has dropped down the Old Style board I've moved it over to the Grocery Shopping board to see if you can get more replies.

I went into a Turkish-owned mini-supermarket in Sussex yesterday and they had them so I think your best bet is to look for your nearest Turkish shop.0

I regularly buy, when available, from Indian green grocers in Tooting, south London. They are really delicious, worth the money.More0
