Unfinished wood box?

Hi I am looking for a wooden box with a lid, preferably hinged. I would love to be able to pick one up tomorrow for a craft project with my granddaughter on Wednesday. We collected shells so I want to make a jewellery box with her, shells only for the lid.

Any idea where I can pick one up. We have hobby craft near us but not sure if theirs will be big enough. Would like it to be approx 8" in length. Don't mind bit bigger but want it to be under £5. I have seen some cigar boxes online but no idea where I will get one from.

Hiya Sethsgran welcome home hope the holiday was relaxing:) only you would come straight back and get stuck in - me I'd think "oh yes that's a good idea" and take months(possibly many months) to get around to it!

Have you got a decent tobacconists near you. I bought a couple of cigar boxes last year for my nephew who was making a cigar guitar. Think they charged a pound for them. Definitely worth a try. I'll pm you tomoz if that's ok- re lettering:) x
