Applying for Aldi

I've applied for Aldi this morning using their online application form. I know the store I've applied to are hiring as I shop there every week and have seen the sign.

Just wondering if anyone else has applied for them and how long it takes for them to get back to you (if they do).

They got back to me when i applied, can't remember how fast mind but dont think it was as long as say 4 weeks.

As you apply online now it could be a quicker(or no quicker than other firms or maybe slower) response time as when I applied it was direct to the store and the area manager did the interviews.

I remember applying twice and both times they got back to me.

Thanks! I think I was reading your posts earlier on an Aldi related thread. Made me chuckle that people were complaining about having to put some graft in. Not something that bothers me and I imagine it would make time fly.

Yes the time goes by if your busy, i find your less likely to keep on looking at your watch for the time.

Their site says

If your application is successful, we will be in touch with you over the next 14 days to take your application onto the next stage. However, due to the high volume of applicants, if you do not hear from us within this period, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.

Ah just seen your reply, its monthly pay, [STRIKE]I can go and check if its every 4 weeks or monthly to be sure.[/STRIKE]

Cant seem to find the payslips.

I made an application on 25th April 2012 and received a phone call on 10th August 2012 asking if I'm interested in an interview. As if I'm sitting there for months waiting for their reply and not applying anywhere else.

That's why I told them to shove my application up their !!!! and hanged up. I think it's quite insulting taking that long to reply me.
