I have found an unsettled amount for an old loan from llyods/Tsb at £2472, i went into my bank and a gentleman showed me my loans and that all showed as closed and he gave me a print out, how do i get this off my report if tsb are saying its settled?

Phone experian and generate a query, scan copies of the information the bank has given you and ask experian if you can email them the copies. it can take upto 28 days for it all to be resolved. It might be worth checking equifax and call credit to verify whether they hold exactly the same information.
You could also phone LTSB head office and get them to sort in NOW, don't let them fob you off saying it takes 28 days they can update from their end faster.
Quote this: that they are in breach of the data protection act as the information they have recorded on your file is:
1) out of date
2) not accurate
the data protection act states clearly all data must be accurate.0 -
Good advice from awayinchina. Easiest way to get us to raise a dispute for you is by submitting an email via the Experian website.
