  • Surely your pay slips (assuming they ask for 3 months plus) will show the deduction/salary sacrifice for the childcare vouchers? So they'll know, and also know you haven't declared it? And you bank statements will show what you pay for childcare?

Honesty is normally the best policy...

    I've been Money Tipped!
On our recent mortgage I did declare child care but it is done by salary deduct so actually made it look like our expenses were more. I had to ring them to explain it as the child care was not in our net salaries as we had already "paid" for it

Go cat, Mine is the same, comes out of my gross pay and is clearly evident on my payslips.

The broker who helped me answered all the questions asked about my income and outgoings and i was accepted for a mortgage in principle. In that case have i done anything wrong?
  • Ladymarm. Curious to know if you have an update? Were you accepted?
