Hi all
We have applied via a whole of market broker to nationwide for mortgage. Survey was done last Monday. Have been advised there but of backlog and mortgage broker covering for our one who is on holiday said they should hear something in week as they chased end last week. Just checked my experian report and can see a search by nationwide back in June when broker first applied. Are there any more checks? Guess I just worry! We've paid out for survey and just Rory we could get declined after spending etc. Also, I'm not sure if connected but my online banking has "preapproved offers" and it's gone from £19k to nothing..lis this because of mortgage credit search?
Thanks for reading

There should be no further checks by Nationwide unless the broker you are using changes details of the application with them. I am not sure about the Pre-Approved Offers, but I can only assume that it may be because of your current borrowing details that have changed, Probably not to do with your credit score.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
