Making a blind for the glass panel on my front door?

Hi, I love my stained glass front door but its a bit impersonal if you know what I mean other people in my street got round this by putting a curtain up but I tried this and found it too annoying if I needed to open the front door. Now I've seen another house (new people moved in) have put a blind up at the back of theirs. I remember there being a 'how to' on here some time ago on how to make one of these (roman and roller blinds) but can't find it.
