Looking for a decent LA in Glasgow

Hi all
I'm after a recommendation for a good letting agent in Glasgow, more specifically in the West End area. I'm looking for one with a decent tenant finding service, that won't rip off me or potential tenants (too badly)!
Once the tenant is in place I would be looking to manage the property myself.
To predict all the usual questions re how prepared I am to be a landlord - I'm aware of all the legal requirements. Consent to let etc. is not relevant issue. Becoming a landlord is not something that I am considering entering into lightly. I've been around this board long enough to know that it can be a fraught and expensive exercise!
Thanks!

I haven't used a letting agent yet but got details from Campbell Bain Estate Agents (CB Letting.co.uk). They have offices in both West End and South Side of Glasgow. They are a small team.
Spoke at length with one of their advisors and was sent more info by email immediately. Terms and conditions seemed reasonable but then again I have nothing to compare them with so this is not really a recommendation as such. They stated there are options i.e. either they can take over full management of a property or just find a tenant with the owner taking control. Although I did like that they didn't pressure me at any stage and simply left me with the all the details I would need.
I'd phone round a few and see how they respond, perhaps walk down Byres Road as there seems to be agents at every corner; then compare their contact, costs etc. then, if possible, try for a short term contract so, if you don't like the company you choose, you can change to another.0 -

if your prepared to do everything else go the whole hog and advertise it you will save a lot , look for online letting or google private landlords0

I just posted on your thread. Basically I haven't gone ahead with anyone yet, but I had a couple of agents around last week.0
