Stratford Friday 17th August - anything Olympic to see/do?

Hi all,
We booked the Premier Inn at Westfield Stratford ages ago for the night of Friday 17th August - at a MSE price! - and am now wondering if there will be anything to see or do at the Olympic park... Does anyone have any ideas?

I wouldn't have thought so in the Park since it will be closed to the public because of preparations for the Paras. I can definitely recommend getting the Jubilee line from Stratford to North Greenwich and going on the cable car though0

There is a viewing window(free)and platform(£2 to charity) in John Lewis in the shopping centre.0
