picked up some £2 off 'Real shave' coupons and £1 off wilkinson sword today. Can anyone tell me if then scan on any toilettry shopping or are they product specific.

Hi!

I have never used any H&b or quit vouchers so I need somebody who can help me out. If I bought £5.00 worth of beauty products and I use the self - scan till, could I use more than one voucher or as soon as I have the first voucher scanned the till would not be able to deduct anymore as my shopping money is going down... do you use the same type of vouchers or mix them? Do you use the colgate and mouth wash if you haven't bought the products?

I believe these have both been mentioned on https://www.paidtoshop.co.uk as being specific to the product, they don't scan without buying it. Sorry Annie!

Hiya, first of all you can't use the mouthwash one unless you have bought it and you can only use the Colgate one if you have bought a toothpaste (these seem to scan on ANY toothpaste purchase, one per item). These won't scan on other products.

I don't use the self-scan, I would choose a young lad or girl on the tills and pre-sort your vouchers for a £10 or £12 H&B spend (if you have the peach H&B ones it's worth making the total £12 so you can use three peach £1 off toiletries, rather than two).

I wouldn't go for a £5 spend as you are straight away wasting the £2.50 off coupon (wasting two if you have the peach H&B and the So Beautiful versions).

You should be able to hand over several coupons, but with H&B it's best to buy some other stuff too as padding, otherwise if your total is only £12 it is obvious that you have only spent that amount on H&B. With other groceries, making your total more like £20 or £30, the SA is more likely not to tally up your H&B spend (just don't choose the middle-aged lady and don't try in a really small store).

Put 6 sanex showergels in my shopping this afternoon and the Real Shave coupon didn't scan :mad:
Put all the Quit coupons and the other £1 and £2.50 H&B's through with it to get £3.70 off my other shopping :beer: (with a little help from the glitch)

Hiya folks,

Just thought I'd let any Dundonians reading that the elusive quit kits are available in the garage at the Kingsway Extra Store. They had 3 boxes of them by the tills.

Also the So Beautiful booklets were in abundance in the Health and Beauty Section. Go to the makeup aisle and down at the bottom near the ground level they were all stacked there and very easy to miss. I've never seen them there before - come to think of it I've never really seen them before full stop.

Hope this helps some fellow shoppers as you guys have helped me loads.
