Learn Programming Course £7 offer

I think $10 is £7, anyway.

This is good for you or your children to learn programming, it is a course, although the video on the page does not work for me any more, it is subject to go up after this funding, and the guy only wanted $800.

The guy is going to be writing for CodeCademy so you have an idea of how respected he is:

It is $10 right now, not sure how much it is going to go up to.
Could go up to $40 or more after, who knows.
You get free updates too.

How is this saving money? He even says on Kickstarter "There are tons of resources out there for learning Python, but none of them are very practical or interesting".

So there's plenty of FREE stuff out there, he's right about that. But to say NONE of them are practical or interesting is a bit rich, Codeacademy has plenty of errors in it and it wasn't always very clear which is a problem since it was aimed at kids.

If anyone thinks they are interested in programming, start at the real FREE place w3schools

True but he is trying to get his point across, for that particular language plus there will be extra resources with it, so it is a saving because the actual price is going to be a bit more, not sure how much but that is a special offer price.

Python has already started on Codeacademy - been learning it (slowly) myself.
