EON - What's happened?!
Dear EON. I've been a customer of yours for years. In fact, I was transferred from Powergen and stayed with you.
But now I fear it is time to move on.
I've always had great customer service, but cannot stomach a 20% price rise as my SaveOnline10 comes to an end.
Not that your new web site has made comparing prices easy - it's abysmal to be honest. Where has the detailed tariff information gone? Talk about dumbed down, but we're not all energy naive.
So, I just spent 30 seconds using a compare site and immediately found a deal comparable to my current one, only a few pound a year more expensive as opposed hundreds of pounds more expensive.
Please tell me you have hidden your best tariff's away on that awful new website of yours and that I simply can't find them?

Thanks, thought I'd give that a go, but now get this message:

Exactly the same here from yesterday. I thought it was due to my having switched tariff, as my SaveOnline 9 came to an end yesterday.
Evidently not, as the website's still not allowing me access to my account. I'll have to pass on my meter reading by phone then. But phone contact is not available until Monday, it seems.:mad:0 -
Seems to be a general problem this a.m - tried to log in with my daughter's details as she wanted me to look at alternatives to Saveonline tariff she is currently on - but no dice!!0

Exactly the same situation for me.
Saveonline9 came to an end on Friday so I'm now on EONs EnergyOnline tariff. To accommodate that they have put up my direct debit by almost £30 a month.
I now can't access my account online, but suspect their system is down.
I have been a customer for several years and have always liked the service they have provided. You could call me a satisfied customer.
Sorry EON, not anymore.
All comparison sites show the cheapest EON deals as several hundred pounds more expensive than their competitors.
I sent them an email asking if they could provide me with a competitive tariff and they basically said no.
So I'm switching now.0 -
Same here. Keep hoping they will bring out a new saveonline tariff, maybe that is why the site is down? Fingers crossed. I'm giving it one more week and then if there is no news I'm starting my switch (3 weeks before the contract end date so should be ok).The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

My switchover will be tomorrow and i still cant get online.:(0

I tried to log into my account at Eon's website this morning and received the same message as above.
Wondered whether it was because we have changed to a DD tariff. Have sent a message on the 'contact' form.0 -
Morning guys,
I'm so sorry you're not keen on the new website Andy_WSM I will as always pass on the feedback that you have all given.
As you know I'm not here over the weekend so sorry for the delayed reply .
Right, I have logged in to my online account this morning and all seems to be working ok now. I do know there were issues over the weekend though.
To see products and prices for new tariff's you need to log in as normal, then click product switch on the left hand side, then switch your product (bottom right), you will then see your current tariff and other tariff's you can change to. If you click the + tab it will give unit prices and extra details.
Hope this helps a little.

Thanks Helena. Time to move on then as your prices now are way out of kilter with the rest of the industry0
