Cambridge to London Train Savings

If you travel Cambridge - London Liverpool Street at around 9am, 1pm or later evening you can get singles for £6 by taking part in One Trains' print your ticket online scheme. It will take longer than the king's cross route but substantially cheaper.

This route is normally one of the most expensive in the country and has just gone up loads!

Anyone up for lobbying rail companies to let people with a young person's railcard save on travel at peak times? It's lunacy? Have previously paid 400/month in train fares because I couldnt afford to live in London!

They were offering £6ew from Ipswich too (though there was no mention of a 'print online' option.

But mysteriously these cheap prices had disappeared when it got near to the date of travel, so decide well in advance!
