The 2012 Blackpool Illuminations Switch On will be a free event and this year will celebrate the centenary of the lights. However due to the number of people expected, admission to this year's event will again be strictly by ticket only.

Tickets will be allocated randomly with a maximum of 4 tickets per household and 50% being allocated to people in the Borough of Blackpool area.

For your opportunity to enter the allocation process to attend this years Illuminations Switch On please complete the form.


Registration will close at 12 noon on Wednesday 15th August and successful applicants will be notified by email on Tuesday 21 August.

Please note: Multiple applications from the same email or postal address will not be accepted.

Thanks I applied and got some - 4 wristbands for me and the family - I applied last year and didnt get any so it was an unexpected win for me this year - thanks again for reminding me.:D otherwise I would not have remembered to apply. Ps I am in Bpool so it did increase my chances somewhat.

hi,
lost my dad this year and really wanted to go back to blackpool for illuminations switch on concert. Applied at Real Radio, Smooth FM and online at Blackpool but wasn't lucky. Does anyone have 2 wristbands that they can't use.
