Aviva endowment still worth holding?

I started a 25 year CGNU (now Aviva) with profits endowment in 1994, designed to pay off a £62250 mortgage, monthly payments are £85.
A while back, being worried about the red shortfall letters being received I made some enquiries and found there was an endowment mortgage promise of 6%. The calculated MEP value was £11050, which would be used to top up the final payout.
IM just wondering whether the Aviva MEP is still valid? I know it was never guaranteed and as Aviva dont seem to mention it much was it little worried incase they have changed or stopped it.
Hopefully, its still worth hanging on to this endowment as there are 6 years left and the projected maturity value is around £41000 + the MEP.
All info welcome.
