Sky Sports Goal of the Season Competition
1. This promotion is open to residents of UK, Republic of Ireland Isle of Man and Channel Islands aged 18 years or over. Proof of age may be required. Employees (or family members of employees) of any British Sky Broadcasting Group company ("Sky"), companies associated with the Promotion and all affiliates of such companies may not enter the Promotion. Facebook and Twitter are in no way responsible for any aspect of this promotion.
2. To enter this promotion, you need to participate in the Sky Sports Goal of the Season competition by submitting your vote for a nominee in any of the categories. The promoter does not accept responsibility for network, computer or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your mail. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
3. This promotion opens on 23rd July 2012 and closes at 23.59 on 17.08.2012.
4. One entry per person per category shall be allowed. Entries sent in through agents or third parties will be disqualified. Late, incomplete or otherwise ineligible entries will be disqualified.
5. The winner will be selected at random by an independent person, from all correct and eligible entries received. The winner will be notified by email by 18.08.2012. Each vote shall increase your chances of winning the ultimate Sky Sports viewing experience.
6. Prize details:
The winner will receive:
A 60" inch 3D TV
A home cinema system
A Sky+ HD subscription
A 32GB (wifi only) Apple iPad
Plus two hospitality tickets to see the UK team of your choice
7. Prize package terms and conditions:
a. Sky World HD package terms and conditions: The winner will be required to enter into three (3) subscription contracts (one Sky digital, one Sky+ and one Sky+HD subscription contract). After expiry of the winner's 12 months' free viewing, unless the winner cancels or changes their package, giving 31 days or more notice, standard subscription charges will apply (see https://www.sky.com for details). Sky+ subscription is included in the winner's Sky TV subscription and is required to use the Personal Video Recorder features of the Sky+HD box. The winner will need Sky+HD professionally installed even if the winner already has a minidish. Costs may apply for non-standard set-up. The winner must keep their Sky+HD box connected to a fixed and operational telephone line. If the winner needs a minidish the winner will be responsible for obtaining all consents required (e.g. landlord's) before installation Multiroom is not included in the Prize. Existing Sky digital customers will receive a free Sky World subscription, an upgrade to a Sky+ HD box and a free subscription to the HD Pack for 12 months.
b. Sky will contact the winner to arrange installation of the winner's Prize. Winners must redeem their Prize within one year. Failure by the winner to make an installation application within this time period could result in loss of Prize. If the winner has a previous uncleared debt with Sky the winner will not be able to take up the Prize until this debt has been fully cleared.
c. Hospitality Tickets to see the UK Team of choice terms and conditions: Winners will be provided with a list of available fixtures for their team of choice to choose from. Exact hospitality ticket inclusions may vary upon team. Hospitality tickets for specific graded games throughout season (derby matches will not be available). Premier League fixtures only. Minimum child age restrictions and a dress code may be in place for hospitality areas and can be confirmed once the winners chosen team has been decided. Prize must be taken within the 2012-2013 Premier League season. Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Personal expenses are not included. Prize is subject to availability. Concepts detailed are the property of Element London Ltd. Prize cannot be taken from 24th July - 12th August 2012 (Olympic Games), 2nd December 2012 - 2nd January 2013 (Christmas and New Year), UK or Republic of Ireland bank holidays, or over Easter Sunday. All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time. Once booked, the prize cannot be altered or amended. Winner must be aged 18 or over. Where the winner's companion is aged under 18 they must have prior parental or guardian permission. The prize excludes ground transfers in the UK and Republic of Ireland are not included in the prize, additional meals and drinks not included in the prize, excursions, car hire, personal expenses, and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.
d. If the winner or their guest is residing in the Republic of Ireland, they will require a valid passport in order to travel to the UK.
8. There is no cash alternative to the prize and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prize is non-refundable and non transferable.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control.
10. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize details beyond the Promoter's control and for any act or default of any third party supplier.
11. The terms and conditions of the Sky TV subscription contract and any third party supplier will also apply to the prize where applicable. If there is a conflict between third party terms and conditions and these terms and conditions, these shall take precedence.
12. The Promoter will not be liable for any prize(s) that do not reach the winner for reasons beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.
13. If the winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable time period or is not able or available to accept the prize for any reason which is beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, then the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.
14. The Promoter's decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry terms and conditions will be disqualified.
15. Details of the prize winner's first name and county will be available for one month after the close of this promotion by writing to the Promoter at the address below and stating the name and date of the promotion.
16. The name, county and photograph of the winner may be used by the Promoter and its associated companies for post-event publicity purposes. The winner agrees to allow the Promoter to use their name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional remuneration.
17. In addition to the use specified above, the Promoter will use each winner's, and each entrant's, personal details for the purpose of administering this promotion. By entering this promotion you agree that Sky and its business partners may use your information to contact you about products and services you may like. 19. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering this Promotion.
20. This Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Promotion.
