I used one at Sandham Memorial Chapel in Hampshire yesterday. I paid for one person and used one free pass - which is only fair as they're a charity after all.

It wasn't even questioned, but it's a very small property so the staff may not be completely up to date on whether they're meant to take them or not.

hi, its fine for us to accept dont worry - thanks for paying for one place tho' much appreciated! there are quite a few offers about at the moment for Nt places - kids go free, members bring a friend for free - look out for the vouchers before you reach the ticket desk!! You can fill in the voucher right away - no need to send off for anything either
    cheers !

I used the vouchers for me and my mum at the weekend at Dunham Massey. They weren't keen at first and said it was posted on all sorts of forums and wasn't meant to be for anyone to use.

I told them a friend had given them to me and she's in the choir organisation - I had a print off from the internet where it says the voucher can be given to a friend. We spent in the shop and restaurant which we wouldn't have done otherwise so I don't feel bad.

So the vouchers are sort of working - would be interested to hear how other people have got on with them.

Looking through that ma-hoosive list of places excluded (including some choice places that I would love to see) I'm left wondering where you can use it? Plus you can't use it on Bank Holiday weekends which for me is about the only time I could ever contemplate doing something like this.

The thread title is misleading. It should say selected National Trust properties not anyone.

The National Trust could easily remove the pdf from their website and email/post out vouchers to the people who should receive them.

You can't use it, its only was available for a group associated with National Trust. This gives MSE a bad name of being money grabbing tight fisted people which I do not want anything to do with. Shame on you.:mad::mad::mad::mad:
