    The meat offer in my local shop is British beef rump steak, 400g. Normally £3.99 down to £1.99 this weekend.

    Yay, I've just checked on the Lidl website, and for once it is the gammon at my local store!!! Recently they haven't done the best meat offers - gammon, mince, beef etc, but this week it is. I think I'll be finding a bit of space in my freezer for some gammon, and maybe a few bars of chocolate :)

    Looks like the steak is the other side of the pennines from me - annoying as I was over that way last weekend, yesterday and will be next but not this one!! Typcial!

    I bought the last remaining gammon (£2.47kg) at my local at 9.30am Sat.
    A good alternative is Heron mis-shaped bacon at £1.70kg.

    OK who bought all the chocolate in the Glenrothes store :p

    Plenty of packs of gammon left but only about a dozen bars of chocolate left when I was in the shop this morning.
