Experian wrong and electoral roll problem

I have just got an AIP with the post office and decided to check my credit file to see if the previous debts were cleared.
It's completely wrong and now I am panicking. I previously had high level debts , although I never paid late or ever missed a payment so retained a good credit rating. I recently divorced and me and the kids moved into rented accommodation last November. I told all credit cards etc of my address change and when the marital home sold cleared all debts . However experian is not showing my new address or that I have any accounts (including bank account). Or that I am currently on the electoral roll (although it shows that I was at my previous address). I phoned local authority and they said they have my new details on their system but the electoral register is only updated periodically and it will show when that happens on the 17th October!!!
My salary is £50k and I want to borrow £150k. My mortgage payments will be less than my current rent. But people keep saying that it's difficult to get a mortgage, even after AIP with. Post office.
Please can someone give me an indication of what's going on with experian? And what the heck I can do to make sure my mortgage gets approved.

Amazing how many people can't spell electoral roll - that's why you get paid £50k!0
