Another deposit question

Hi,

Quick question, in an earlier thread I mentioned that I was gonna sell a watch to fund the last thousand of the deposit, since then anything has been approved (mortgage letter in the post) my dad said he'd give me the 1000. So anyway wrote a gifted deposit letter and took it in branch. We checked and the offer is in the post. He's told me not to worry about the gifted letter now asits approved and it's avery small amount+ funds would be in there when I get paid at the end of the month anyway... Prob is when I sent the letters to the solictor I mentioned 1000 was being gifted.. not sure what to do now the mortgage advisor was adamant that all is good and I should stop stressing. But I am, lots. I find I'm worrying over every step of this process (being told to much by friends,family etc)

If the solicitor tells the mortgage co (not sure if they always do) that 1000 was gifted is my offer likely to be withdrawn?

Unlikely, as not a significant sum.

Are they likely (solictor) to mention it? 3 days from application to offer seems to easy.. 25% dep and a low salary to mortgage probably helped.... Any thoughts? My sensible head says forget! My paranoid head says what if they ask? Will they ask?
