I would like to buy a giant bow or rosette for my daughters first car, all I've found online are either very expensive or for weddings - I'm trying to keep things as :money:as possible so suggestions are welcome:)

You'll find they are more expenive than the car online!!
I used to work in a florist and they used to do things like this. The ribbon they have may not be big enough for what your after so suggest wholesale place then taking it to a florist. We used to charge £10ish for big ones and £5 when they bought their own ribbon.2025 Mortgage start £378K 2025 Overpayment £103 Savings Challenge 2025 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0 -

Try personalised printed ribbon, they are in Essex and they do loads of big bows, all different styles and colours, I had a big red car bow made for me last year, it was beautiful, and free delivery. They also do the personalised windscreen banners and smaller bows for the wing mirrors. Fab. Hope that helps, K0

I made a giant padded satin bow and ribbons for my BIL when he bought a car for my SIL one Christmas. It was the width of the car and very thick and padded. Very simple to make and it was cheap, just a couple of metres of satin lining fabric and some quilt batting which would cost about £15 at today's prices. So if you knew anyone that can do some basic sewing....?Val.0
