i'm looking to buy bin bags that don't smell. (as I don't use them as bin bags, just as big plastic bags)
does anybody off the top of their head know any good makes?
particularly ones available in a big london supermarket chain.

I'm scratching my head here. If you mean black bin bags, then I think they often have a weird smell because they aren't food grade plastic.
Only suggestion I can make is to look for biggest food grade bags you can ?0 -
I don't think I have ever seen a scented bin bag in Waitrose.0
