Mattress advice please!

Hi and I apologise if this thread is in the wrong place!
My husband and I are looking to replace our mattress - soon or divorce may be on the cards as we are being prodded by springs all night!
We recently took a trip to Dreams. Although we wouldn't buy from there it helped us establish what sort we are looking for. I am aware that all brands differ and ideally we need to try it out but will probably buy online to save money.
here's the challenge...! Can any one recommend a firm, tempur + pocket spring brand at a reasonable price?
Appreciate any advice / shops worth visiting (we are based in London)
THANK YOU!

what's a reasonable price?
I got mine from John lewis, pocket sprung and is very comfortable. Having said that, it was £800.
With mattresses, it is worth spending a bit more to get a decent one as you do tend to spend quite some time on it.0 -
Check out the Argos website for many half price offers (if you believe the original RRP) but also for many personal reviews.
In my opinion some good bargains there0 -

V similar thread posted recently so do an advanced search for mattress in titles.
My recommendation is for "Highgrove" - well pleased with mine0 -
What is your budget?
Are you after a decent product that will last 8-10 years or just one that will get you by?
There are over 100 different manufacturers of mattress in the UK. Without a budget it's kinda hard to recommend any.
Why do you want a firm pocket? Because by their very nature pocket springs are usually slightly softer then an open coil, as they are designed to mold around the body. Having too firm a pocket goes against the purpose.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0
