Saving money and getting more organised

Weekend update. Did the weekly shop on Friday knowing I only have £50 left in my account and no more over draft facilities as I cancelled them. Well the shop came to £54 pounds and my card was refused. The good bit - I thought the bank would still take the money and charge me horrendously. The slightly embarrassing bit - had to give stuff back to make it under 50 quid. hey ho. Also had to pay the builder and some extra sand and cement for our retaining wall, but that came from savings.

Saved dinner yesterday as we were round a cousins house for her son's birthday and got fed there. Tonight might just be a chicken and pepper stir fry.

Good morning.

Today should be a SFD. Hubby bought takeaway last night as he was back so late and wanted to give me a break. Going to have the restfor lunch.

Last night while waiting for OH i finally finshed the first two doors on the kitchen, pictures coming tonight. Also baked the first apple cake from the tree we planted when we moved in.

Couldn't wait, parked little one in front of telly for 10 min (I know bad parenting) and hung the doors

Now I got the motivation to to the other ones a bit quicker too. Can't wait to get home. OH is playing footie tonight so tea doesn't need to be ready till 8:30 so plenty of time to get started on the next ones.
