    I finally managed to see the pictures last night (work computer blocks all photos on here :( ) You look so happy, and your dress suited you perfectly.

    Thank you Buggly - I love wearing sarees - once you get it draped right it's easy to wear & very comfy :D

    Yes it looks like it! Do you wear them day to day? I would love to. Don't know whether I could pull it off.

    I only wear them for special occasions & sometimes at home - maybe once a month - had plenty of practice after 7.5 years!

    It helps if you have a relative (or husband!) who knows how they go on. You can get "automatic" sarees made - they are ready stitched into place but obviously if your measurements change then the saree won't fit.

    practice is the thing - some good tutorials online eg http://youtu.be/dxyyplADV5o

    Do you live in/near a big city with an Indian area? you'll need the blouse & petticoat as well as the saree - blouses are usually made from the saree end to match.
