Nationwide

I have been looking at the Nationwide too and found it very good. To get an agreement in principle it says it will credit check. We know between two properties which one we want
Couple of questions - we are sure this is the product we want so not worried about the search, but can it be withdrawn for any reason. Will they credit check and if thats ok, give us the agreement.
If we get the agreement for the max we are prepared to pay, can it be less if we can get a better offer accecpted.
We are not in a chain, so want to use all items we can to get a quicker sale and hopefully a better price. One property we are looking at is vacant.
Thanks for all help so far

get an agreement for the higher amount - if you need less then just tell them. Bear in mind that rates will not be held until you submit a full application though.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.This signature is here as I follow MSE's Mortgage Adviser code of conduct. Thanks - you are great with quick advice.
Good point about the rates, never thought of that.
If the application is accepted at the AIP stage, does that mean they have credit checked and everything is ok?
Just a long time since last mortgage and I never had one of these before0 -
