I'm looking for some fruit trees. I know it's not the best time of year to be buying/planting however I don't have an alternative and need them within the next 3 weeks.
I need approx 12 trees, a mix of apple, pear, plum and cherry. I also would like a mix of varieties within the fruit.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good nursery/garden centre in Central Scotland. I'm near Cumbernauld but would consider Clyde Valley area if suggested.
I'd rather purchase from a family owned nursery than a chain and I may have lots of questions so also looking for one where the staff are knowledgeable.
Thanks

Try Torwood Garden Centre in Larbert. As your coming from Cumbernauld you can get to it right off the motorway so easy to get to. Anything I've bought from there has always been good. Staff know their stuff as well.
Also if you sign up for a members card you can get various discounts by newsletter ,email etc.0 -
Thanks - they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They also deliver so the trees are due to arrive with me on Monday. I also joined their club and got a discount. Thanks again.0
