Getting know where in my search for a new job

You will know I've been looking out of a new job ever since I got it my current job 3 months back, and in that 3 month period I have applied for 5 jobs and had 2 interviews and heard nothing back from any of them, Is it just me or is anyone else facing this difficulty? Ok there are jobs such as care assistants and the likes but no point leaving one crappy job for another. In my local areas just now there are 18 jobs on the job centre, 10 of them are in the care industry whether they be for carers of nurses, the other 8 are random such as Tailor, System Programmer, Shoe Repairer:( and its the same story week in week out. Care industry advertises 60% of the jobs, jobs for grads 30% and random 10%

You need to adapt to fit the available jobs, the job of your choice is unlikely to come looking for you. Your mindset needs to change if your prospects are to improve.
What do you perceive the barriers to be with care?Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0 -

Poor attitude - a good carer may not be well paid, but they are worth their weight in gold. As you see such a role as "crappy" I would suggest you are not suited to a caring role.0
