Hi All
I have been out of work for over 2 weeks now and i have found another job but its in a field i don't really want to stay in but for now its a job i feel its time for me to get out of coming out of work and never really having a trade to go and find work again straight away
So this is my problem i would like some advice on where to gain some good courses that will help me get a job and what is the best way to go with it?
It would have to be night college as i would still need to work in the day as i have a house a wife and 4 kids to feed :-)
So i have looked into Plumbing and Sparky Trade and i have friends in both :-) But my real love is PC, computing but when i look for jobs with any of these you need so many years of experience :-(
What i would like is some help on pc courses but i need to do one where if i can get into a course and finish it have a good chance and getting a job in that field or if not maybe i should go for plumbing or sparky course
A man very depressed with life atm as i would just like a job i can get into settle until i retire and have no worries i might be out of work
I'm 37 by the way :-)
All i can say is thanks in advance for your feedback

If you are looking to get into computing, then you will need to look at the specific area you plan for. Programming, IT generalist support, network admin, SQL databases etc. Pick what you want to do, and then go online to look for courses. Check the college/provider's accreditations before you hand over money! Just bear in mind that lots of people are trying, and unless you achieve fairly high grades, you may not find work in this field.
Honestly, I'd go for being an electrician! I like a challenge

As you have about 30 yrs minimum before retiring, there's no guarantee that any current trade/profession is redundancy proof. Chose the career that you believe would give you the most job satisfaction. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
