Possible dress bargain

I was looking on Preloved last night, and saw this dress

It's different to what I thought I would like, but something about it just got me.

It is being sold by someone near where i live, but is at the absolute top of my budget. The seller has said it is a size 16, which I think would do me at the moment, but I'm worried that I will not be able to afford alterations if I manage to lose the weight I'm hoping for.

I'm going to a couple of dress shops at the weekend, so not going to make any decision until after then, but just wondered what you thought of it.

  • Wow it is beautiful!

Can you price up how much alterations would be? Sizes also seem to vary alot from dress to dress.

The seller is going to contact her alteration person and give me an estimate I think, so fingers crossed it wouldn't be too bad.

OMG I have found another one, same size but half the price again, so would have money for alterations. Fingers crossed, I love all this searching :)

Looks nice, I would try on some of that brand before deciding as a lot of the dresses come up quite small
