MSE should block all known US IP addresses which would stop most of them0

i'd expect we're all non us, as it's a uk site.
known US addresses might help but could be considered rasicst or similar.....Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0 -

Please do not block US IP ranges, I'm a valid user who is sometimes on US IP ranges. I don't think blocking the US IP range is a good idea, what if people are on holiday and need to get their HUKD fix? What if US people are checking out MSE for travel deals into/around UK?
Bad idea.0 -
I would suggest that all posts by new members are moderated for a period of 30 days or until they prove that they are genuine (e.g. after about 10 valid posts)0

Its only a suggestion and IF if was implemented how many people would that effect a very very small percentage, God if I went all he way to US I certainly wouldn't be browsing forums, I would be enjoying me holsalchemista wrote: »Please do not block US IP ranges, I'm a valid user who is sometimes on US IP ranges.
