As above .I bought some olympic tickets tonight for tomorrow .The confirmation email arrived but not the tickets to print.
If the tickets need to be collected tomorrow can my husband pick them up as I am not going? The Olympics site states that the person who bought the tickets has to collect has anyone had experience of collecting tickets in the last few days with different /Family ID
thanks in advance for any help

I bought cycling tickets this evening for tomorrow. I got the email very shortly after the purchase (within 10mins). The attachment was right at the bottom of the email! Took me a while to notice it.
OH collected Tickets and had to have photo ID, card he paid with and ref no. He tried to collect them without photo ID first and they wouldnt hand them over.
Just to add, have you logged into your account.perhaps you can print from there£2019 in 2019 #44 - 864.06/20190 -
Thanks for your reply there is no attatcment on the confirmation email.I'll have ID but the tickets are in my wifes name0

Afraid not.
It's the account holder who has to collect them- I had a similar problem when i bought football tickets for cardiff for my sons and then realised I would have to collect them ( I'm in Surrey) so the Ticketmaster staff told me to go to my nearest London Venue to collet from there.
As I have been ill and in hospital recently I can't travel into London ( with a 6 year old in tow) to collect, so the staff were amazing and allowed me to change the account name to my son's name, but it took a while as they needed birth certificate proof and my marragige certificate to proove I was his mother. The lady who dealt with my problem was a star, and sorted it over night so now my son can go, otherwise it would have been a wasted £60.:j
So no matter what card is used to pay, ONLY the account holder can collect .0 -
Were you able to get the tickets? I am in a similar situation; applied for the ticket tonight using my wife's id but but my credit card. Problem is wife is overseas.
Will take my chance at the Olympic park. My son will be gutted if they don't give me the tickets tomorrow0 -

Good luck but the site is very explicit that you need photo id and it must match the information on the account. It would have been better if you'd set up your own account (though I guess you know that). They certainly checked my i.d. very carefully0 -

If you have printed at home tickets, do you need to take any other ID to get into the Olympic Park? TIA for any info.Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -

no. I had print at home and they just scanned the barcodes exactly the same as for posted tickets, no id needed at all.0
