Hello :j

I don't know why some people on this forum are obsessed by survey sites or watching mind numbing trailers and videos. You'll spend half of your life looking at these things for a small payout.

Open up a free blog like Blogger or Worpress.com, join the Amazon affiliate business or any other similar programs like Clickbank,Commission Junction........, look for products to promote like gadgets or fitness equipment, do some keyword research using the free Google keyword tool and only choose products which have low competition or limited data, write a blog article of at least 300 words and publish it.

These are all free tools and is an excellent way to get a variety of products from different niches on page one of Google. I use this exact methodology and have several products on page one of Google which is basically money in the bank. The great thing about this approach and getting away from time sapping survey sites is that, you could be travelling abroad or lying on a beach somewhere and your account is still getting loaded up with commissions. Residual income is always the best method for your future online success.

Writing a blog might be a cool idea but how can I increase the traffic of my blog or else if nobody sees it I will prefer to fill survey forms, how you promote your blog?

You can put links to your blog in your signature space on various forums (Where allowed) but you mainly need to get your blog up in googles search rankings. This is the hardest part. to do this you need things like backlinks. Hence you will need to make articles on sites like squidoo with links back to your blog, make a spam account on twitter to spam links to your blog and try to get facebook likes for your site which all seem to help a little. The more pro internet marketers seem to pay other companies/ individuals to auto spam links to numerous other sites at a time, however how long it will be before google notices these and sandbox your sites is maybe a little questionable?

One of the key parts is in your research is using a keyword tool and although it can be tedious, it will allow you to see what the competition is like. It is actually a straight forward process and some people make it more complicated than it has to be.

    1. Choose a couple of niches you can easily write about.
    2. Look for newer products and/or items which have a low and positive feedback score.
    3. Check the competition using the free Google keyword tool and choose products which have low competition or limited data.
    4. Write a blog article of at least 300 words and remember to place your affiliate links with your keyword phrase.
    5. Upload your completed blog and use a feed and pinging service for faster indexing (usually only takes 48 hours).
    6. Your Done :)

This procedure is certainly not rocket science and it's a formula that has worked for me over the past few months and now it's time for me to write up a few blog on technology products which are good to go.

    Hi Hoody

If you do the necessary keyword research at the start then, this will save on the laborious backlinking work and doing squidoo lenses. The key is in your preparation and once you finish each blog you can then send it through a feed and ping it for faster indexing and also use the relatively new bookmarking site called Pinterest for extra recognition.

You also mentioned sandboxing, well more fool someone who buys a link package or something of a similar nature and sends a 1000 links to their site or blog within a few days, that would be waving a huge red flag to the Google bots. If you promote the right product and create individual blogs for each item and a couple of bookmarks to each of them then, you will stay on the right side of big G.

Keyword stuffing your articles can certainly play a part in getting up the rankings, as can pinging your site via services like pingler and pingomatic? But from what i have seen Google also looks at how much your site is mentioned in web2.0 sites like facebook, twitter and so on? Also if you use your keywords too many times in an article Google can consider this to be spamming and this will lead to negative results?

If you do the keyword research at the beginning then, you don't have to overdo the keywords and that must be why I have over 100 technology blog articles on page one of Google at present :)

If you write and more importantly enjoy writing then, it will be more straightforward process. The only other thing which is a must and is time consuming is keyword research. The mistake a lot of people make is in the competition of the keywords. Only every choose phrases which have low competition or even limited data, as it better to be on page one of Google for a product with a limited demand than page four for a hot product.
