redundancy and holiday pay

Hi all,

l am new to this sight, but have read it for 3 years and its a great site, its answered so many of my questions through the years so am grateful to so many people on here,.
Anyway a bit about myself, went bankrupt along with my other half 3 years ago, very traumatic, made myself ill, but anyway,l lost my house, and have been paying an IPA 2years,then on the last year which is now, couldnt work because of health problems, and have now been made redundant, my insolvency say l can keep my redundancy, but l have to pay them any holiday pay that l receive, which actually amounts to more than my redundancy.would like your views on this, would be very grateful for any help.

The redundancy pay is an asset so cant be claimed after you are discharged, the holiday pay is income so cant be claimed directly but is part of the IPA, so for one one month you will have more income than usual and so a tempoaraly higher IPA

Yes, unless your expenses this month are higher than normal
