So I'm making this as motivation for the following:
1) Holiday = £2000 ish
2) New camera = £300 ish
3) Move to Worthing = £? in 2-3 years times
4) Loose 3 stone by time I move
I have recently moved in a new ward with a better pay, but I've not had a full months pay yet and they haven't sorted my wages out completely.
I get around £20,115 + unsocial a year. Haven't worked it out per month as I haven't had a full wage yet + I pay 5% pension and 9% student loan.
I have £295.22 left for the rest of the month to include a few small bills and food.
Plan for today is a NSD.

so I spent £0 yesterday!!!! and should be the same today.0

So I now have £217.87 left so have spent £77 on food/bills etc. Just under 3 weeks till I get paid again.
Bills left are:
£13 for bank account
£33 for travel
£46 total
Think I should be getting around £1251.39 + unsocial0 -
woopz not been using this much lately
Have my birthday coming up on 28th which just happens to be my paydayJust plan a meal and a few drinks.
I don't want to think of what I have left to spend till them, it was £155 but I've been spending a little this week.
Money:
Debts: 40/1972 (PDLs )
Holiday fund: 400/3.5k
Camera fund: 0/400
I still haven't had my pay sorted yet. My payslips are going to my old ward still and I haven't seen my last two! My wages have all been similar so I don't think its been sorted yet, 5 months since moving.
I do however have a second job starting soon (waiting on current work ref) which is £6.79 an hr wd & £8.20 an hr we and each shift is 12hrs long. I should be able to do 1 or 2 shifts a week. This money will go straight into the holiday fund.0 -
With the greatest of respect I think that paying off the PDL is your top priority.

One debt remaining. Home improvement loan.0 -
No interest on the PDLs all on repayment plans, 1 to be paid of next payday and the rest to be paid off before the holiday.0
-
So I was able to not take any more PDLs this month :j Just have the 4 on repayment plans to pay off now.
PDL 1 - £97
PDL 2 - £285
PDL 3 - £658
PDL 4 - £819
I got paid £1388 last month, I'm hoping that is my regular wage as it will give me £400 ish after all bills (excluding food) plus my second job could bring in £250-500 a month!
Meaning I can pay of the debts with my first job wage and save for the holiday with my second job wage.0 -
So my wage still isn't sorted, I'm not sure how to do my budget mainly as my wage isn't the same each month as my unsocial hrs + weekends aren't the same each month. I have decided to use my basic (band 2 not 3 pay) to budget from.

I have decided to transfer £300 into my holiday fund, £40 for my debts and that anything left will be transfered to my spending account.
Anything over £1179 (around £200 at present) I will use to back up my spending + holiday fund. Once I start my new job that money I will use for my loans and everything else will be spending, minus £400 for holiday, and anything left the day before payday will be placed in another savings account.
For the last two days I have spent nothing! Been working 12.5 hr shifts and haven't taken money with me.
I did however go to Sainsburys today and spent:
2 x Dr Pepper 500ml - £2
Carrots - £1 (snack for work)
Large storage for food - £5 (store food for work)
Multi-pack small food storage - £8 (for work)
Vimto - £2
Pasta sauce - 99p
Pasta sauce - 99p
More than I wanted to spend but the storage is for food for work and should last a while.

oh as well as my wages not being sorted yet, my ward manager may make me loose my 2nd/bank job by not doing her reference! They asked her ages ago (CRB and other ref in within 2 weeks) then phoned me to ask her about it and they would also chase it up. They phoned yesterday to say it has been over 1 month and if they don't get it sorted soon they will have to withdraw my offer. I gave them another name to use and haven't heard back from them yet.
They want me to start new week! I'd only be free on the Saturday as I have 3 night shifts + 1 day shift that week.
It was not a NSD yesterday as I had to get milk. Today has been and so should Sunday & Monday.0 -
Horrible scare today. I noticed that the flat below ours is now up for rent but I had a missed call a few days ago from our letting agent. They phoned again today and thought that it was us at 30b moving not 30a! We also received a termination letter from them, with return of deposit details.
Turns out the landlord was mistaken, he better not try and up our rent to what he want's to charge for the flat, which is £100 a month more than what we pay but only £35 a month more than 30a pay.0 -
Sunday was a NSD but unfortunately today isn't as I need to go get bread.
Oh my tax code has now changed to 560LI owe £499.40 tax from last year so they are going to recover it this way! So I now have to pay 20% tax over £5608!!! This will really screw me over as they haven't sorted my pay out yet anyways. They were meant to change the code at the beginning of the tax year but didn't!
I will get overpayment back as they calculate the repayments out of £2497.00 and I get way more than that.0
