Need a high multiple re-mortgage

Hello! Someone on this board helped us get a mortgage almost 2 years ago. We will be coming to the end of the 2 year tie-in period in June so are now looking at remortgaging.
We need a 4x salary borrowing @ 72% of the value of the property. Preferably with the ability to make overpayments. We are currently with Abbey. Both have good credit history but only have one main household income. I am self-employed as a childminder but make less than £50 a week and have only been going since November so don't have any accounts yet.
If anyone wants to PM me to help out, feel free.

hi trippy,
what is your current property value and mortgage balance?
If you could also add the salary of the main income provider, i'll get you a few quotes

4 times salary should be fine with a lot of lenders.
Do you have any other debts?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Michael, are you the clients ACTUAL adviser? if not, then I'd say that offering to get a few quotes was touting, which is against board rules. I also note that you do not state you are an adviser in your signature, which you should, see the sticky, mortgage adviser code of conduct at the top of the mortgages and endowments forum if you are in any doubt as to what you can and cannot do. BTW, you need a little more than someones property value, mortgage balance, and earnings to provide regulated advice.I am a Mortgage Adviser

as you can see mortgage mama, i clearly do have the statement written across my posts to inform that i AM a mortgage adviser. NO i am not touting my business, NO i am not looking for new clients, i come on here (free of charge when i have a few minutes spare) to give people an idea of what they could do (the whole idea of the forum).
If you have ever read any of my posts, you will see i have never pinpointed certain companies, or have i ever just given one quote, as it is impossible to advise just off the details given (as you have mentioned). i give a wide spectrum, given different scenarios.
I suggest if you are that upset at my presence you report me instead of interrupting posts.I am a Mortgage Adviser

Everyone knows you can add a signature whenever you like and its carried across all posts past and present.
If you are not touting then why are you offering to send quotes to a forum user? you would have to be in direct contact with them to do that, hence you are enticing them to contact you. If you are going to ask for information to do something like that at least ask for ALL the information you need as you could be misleading the forum user should you miss out something important, lets say, property construction or leasehold/freehold
I'm not upset by your presence, I'm upset by the fact I interpreted your post as blatant touting. If we all offered to do quotes for forum users MSE would be nothing but a shop window. If I see it again, rest assured I will report but for now I will give you the benefit of the doubt.I am a Mortgage Adviser

are you seriously suggesting that i have just added my signature in between the posts? that is absolute lunacy!!! you are being very short sited!! and no, not everybody knows that it carries across all posts, i for one didn't. i'm a mortgage adviser, not a programmer. Im sure there will be other users on this forum that will confirm i have always had the signature (i can i even prove it if you wish by showing you a pm to myself following my first ever post on the board)
As i have mentioned, i have never 'touted' business on here, and i seriuosly sugggest you report me, so that your conspiracy theory about my signature can be proved wrong if nothing else.
I dont get paid to come on here, i enjoy helping people who don't know as much about the industry as i do, and with members like yourself i very much doubt i will be returning.
if you have a further problem with this, PM me instead of messing up somebody's postI am a Mortgage Adviser

You mean you would get quotes for the client without even doing a fact find
Hardly compliant is it and yes I agree with MM it looks like touting for businessI like to give people as many choices as possible to do what I want them to. (Milton H Erickson I think)0
