Doggie Smell

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this have looked on the pets board but didn't find anything. We have a new dog which my DH announces smells doggie (not sure what he's supposed to smell like he's a dog!:() how do I keep my house smelling nice OS trying to convert DH to MS but it's hard going! :)

    Seems there are some ideas on there actually.
    Opinion on everything, knowledge of nothing.
  • Bicarbonate of soda used as a shake n vac works quite well, leave on the carpet for half hour or so, I guess you could add a drop or two of essential oil if you want a fragrance. I tend to use it plain, it does help but if you have a dog, you will have a doggy smell:eek:
  • I don't know if it will help but, when we got a new dog a year ago, she smelt very doggy compared to our boy (who was long haired), we feed a high quality dog food and a few weeks and one bath later she did not smell anymore.
    Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p
