Gift for the girlfriend - help?!

My girlfriend is moving into a new flat tonight (we have already moved her stuff down) and is starting a new job on Monday.
I wanted to get a "congratulations" type gift (for moving/completing first week of work)....something that will be delivered on Saturday.
I was thinking flowers would be the obvious choice...but I really don't know which flowers I should be buying....knowing me I'd end up getting funeral flowers! I have never bought flowers in my life!
Has anyone ordered flowers on the internet and got an tips on where to buy or any offers?
Are flowers not appropriate for this type of occasion - I'm useless!

Hi
I have always ordered from the internet company 'Bunches' for flowers. Lovely selection, good quality and good prices.
How about some flowers to be delivered and then next time you visit, make her up a treat box just for her. Maybe buy some relaxing bath stuff, some of her favourite chocolate, a nice book, you get the idea....
Then she can have a relaxing session in her new home to ease her into her new lifestyle.
Good luck0 -
I second bunches as a website for buying flowers.

'Bunches' is absolutely brilliant, and the bouquets are really good, and last for ages. I would never order from elsewhere, I can trust them to deliver, they are helpful (e.g. when I needed to alter the specification), respond quickly. Well done Bunches, genuine customer service!0

You can give flower with some message in your gift and your message will express your all feeling for her, that should be heart touching type.
If you are giving something other then this then each gift give some message which will be related to your relation0
