Mortgage dilemma

Hi All
long time reader first time poster here goes.
i applied for a new mortgage on a property i was purchasing, had no problems was accepted until they came across my girlfriends name on the electoral role at my address she had nothing to do with the property except living there. they then said that because she lived there they would lend me 20k less!! i was totally unaware about this we had many a discussion she couldnt go on the mortgage with joint names as she was worried if i didnt keep up the repayments it would jepodise her other property she owns. so the only solution was for her to move out.
now she wants to move back in understanderbly however im worried that the mortgage company will be keeping an eye on me and will want 20k or will call the mortgage in in full  . i really dont want to ask the mortgage company incase it raises their interest.
anyone had a similar issue? or in the mortgage game? HELP please

They won't. She moves back in with the new contract in place which protects them. People move their GFs / BFs in with them all the time - there is no need to declare this to a mortgage lender.
I would be interested to who the lender was ?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
i didnt declare her at the previous house to a different mortgage provider as it never even crossed my mind why they would be interested, however since they have pulled me up on it already im concerned they will be keeping an eye on me, perhaps im on some sort of naughty boys list or maybe im just being paranoid. but they did stipulate that one of the conditions was single occupancy after they found her.
the lender is Yorkshire building soceity0 -

There is established law that gives rights to occupiers of property that are not named on the title deeds. Hence the reason that lenders require consent forms for all people in occupation of a property. The consent form in essence waiving any claim to the property.
Your lender may take the view that you have broken the bond of trust that needs to exist between you and them when entering a contract.0 -
YBS/Accord are uber picky/suspicious/neurotic by nature.
There is no problem with declaring (other than they chose to call this a dependent in yoru case, having 'discovered' it).
Move her in, keep paying - no problem (Unless there is a specific clause in the offer/agreement which I doubt)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
