  • Hi,
I am near the end of the OLCI Plumbing City & Guilds 6129. This course cost me nearly £4K but is now more expensive. This style of course gives you a Technical City & Guilds NOT a recognised apprenticship certificate.

    BEWARE!!!!!!!!

I have just been told that the Scottish and Northern Ireland Plumbers federqation (The controlling Body for all Plumbers) is or has moved into the North of England. These guiys DO NOT LIKE this style of course, and therefore do not recognise it!!!!!!! You cannot register with them and therefore you can be thrown off some building sites if you do not have their registration card which states that you are a competant person.

You can get round this but it means further study to aquire NVQ/SVQ level 3.
