embossing powder (a thread for card makers etc)

hi everyone,

firstly im sorry if this is in the wrong place but i had absolutely no clue where i could put it. If it is in the wrong place then im more than happy for admins to move it to a more appropriate place.

I'm a student at university and have decided to use embossing as the main technique for my project for the upcoming year but have come into a bit of a dilemma.

I have all of the required equipment except the embossing powders themselves. I have looked around and i'm really struggling to find them at an affordable price.

The cheapest i have found is 2.99 each for 30ml at the range. Unfortunately there are no range shops near me and the postage is £4 which makes them rather expensive.

I was wondering where all the arts and crafts people on this forum buy embossing powder and how much they pay.

Once again i apologise if this is in the wrong place but i would greatly appreciate any assistance.

thank you for your help and i look forward to talking to you all

  • Crafters Companion is £2.99 for a small jar, postage is only £1 for order under £10.

Otherwise ebay is probably the place to look for sets of mini pots in various colours.

you should ask on the card making forum. it a bit quiet on there at the moment but I'm sure you'd get more answers and they'll tell you where it's cheapest

I use eBay for all my crafty things

You could try a website called Cutting Edge Crafts or Joanna Sheen. Both have free postage and a wide range of crafty goodies.

    Good luck with your project
