Can you buy tickets at the box office at the Olympic park?

I live walking distance from excel but have failed to get tickets for anything that I wanted to take my grandson to.

I can't afford £40 tickets so am checking the website for late releases. Twice now I've had tickets in my basket and both times the site has told me allocation would take 15 mins.. At the end of the time they've just popped an unsuccessful message up.

Therefore I'm wondering if you can buy tickets over the counter at the ticket office?

The only tickets for sale are the last minute releases and these are only for sale at the ticket offices inside the venues so you would need to already be in the Olympic Park/Excel to have an opportunity to buy these. Only option to buy otherwise is through the official website. If you use Twitter you could follow @2012TicketAlert which gives updates of the latest tickets to be released online which gives you a slight headstart.
