Yet again, i'm gobsmacked by just how rude people can be (scroll back in the thread if you haven't been bothered to read the whole thing). I really don't think personal insults are necessary! Go away if you can't be nice, i've had a really BAD week and the likes of you are starting to really P me off.

Additionally this thread has developed into a "poke fun at and share disbelief of SOME posts on freecycle" , most (if not all) of the regular participants in this thread get that and are enjoying it.

if this isn't for you there are plenty other threads on MSE , one of which surely, is more in line with what brings you pleasure. It is, by the way, possible to unsub from any thread if such thread so greatly offends or if your sense of humour doesn't "dovetail" with others in said thread.
Hate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
    Do little and often
Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying

Oh dear, think Mr Squiddy may be my soon to be Ex hubbie that I just threw out and is looking for Caravan accomadation  pmsl.

I love Freecycle and use it regularly although I have mine set up to receive e-mails as and when I always get block which means I never get anything, boo hoo. I have however given away and swapped alot and all the people I have had dealings with have been lovely. Oh except for 1 that told me to ring him (which I did) and left my number, STALKER!!!! Hubby soon sorted him out. This is my latest but nowhere near as comical as most!

Hi this is a real long shot but i'm still going to ask.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day

I added to my original post so that readers wouldn't think I was taking the p*** but had shock and disbelief at the posting. I seriously doubt if anyone would dream of putting that as a wanted if it was not true. but bloody hell how desperate is this poor bloke. how old are the kids, its them I feel really sorry for.

A TV, battered and bruised but still in working order, I called him as it was the second time I had offered it with no takers (and I really want to keep a tv out of landfills.) He did 1471 and stalked me for about 2 weeks...... It was funny but dh hates fc, I still put things up unbeknown to him x
