I don't really use freecycle much at all now. I used to when I first found out about it because I thought it was a really great idea. I used to give away alot of nice things because my partner and I had moved in together and combined two homes into one and so had too much furniture and household items for the both of us.

I was then totally disgusted when I put a couple of wanted posts on in the same week and was told I wasn't allowed to put two wanted requests in the same week and one was removed. Yet when I monitored the forum over just the course of a few days there were lots of people (who incidently used the forums on a much more regular basis than I did) constantly putting in multiple wanted requests that were not removed. It seemed very much like the rules were enforced for some but not for others. This couldn't help but make me question the motives of the organisation.

Now I tend to offer things to friends, ebay or, as a last resort, it goes in the bin :o

    lol, only a some
double bedding, works fine, used twice on spare bed, no original packaging, blue in colour. (light blue). two years, three months and 11 days old.
small table, wooden, dark brown, 12" by 12" square, used several times for plaing coffee on, works great for this purpose, i've had it 1 year, 6 months and 23 days, but may be an antique as i bought it second hand. no original packaging.

oh and some books, various titles, and yes of course i'll split the bag whilst you stand there and only take 2 from a bag of 20, then complain they aren't in brand spanking new condition and i've had the nerve to read them before offering.
